According to O.C.G.A. Statute 35-3-35 (d.1), Georgia criminal records are public documents. The statute further provides public access to felony conviction records without consent of the person whose record is being checked. No more than $20.00 is charged as fee and any local law enforcement agency may provide this information. At the time of the request, you would need to provide the subject's full name, race, sex, and date of birth.

Thus, individuals who require fingerprint checks on themselves for employment, licensing, or visa purposes, must also submit fingerprint cards and a $15.00 fee.
